Mag. Sophie Salomon
Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Colic Surgery & Chiropractic
Having grown up in the Mühlviertel region of Austria, Sophie was infected with the "horse bug" by her grandparents at a young age. Her many years of experience in international eventing have given her a deep understanding of horses and equine medicine. After completing her veterinary medicine studies (equine module) in Vienna in 2015, numerous internships at clinics (Wolfesing Equine Clinic - Germany, Alamo Pintado Equine Medical Center - USA, Equine Clinic at the Racecourse - Germany) further expanded her expertise in equine medicine. In 2016, she completed her training in veterinary chiropractic according to the IAVC standard. Following three years (2015-2018) at the Parsdorf Equine Clinic in Germany, she ran her own mobile equine practice specializing in orthopedics and chiropractic until 2021. ... Sophie successfully completed her specialist veterinary examination for horses in 2021. As a partner at the Tillysburg Equine Clinic, she has been working diligently and enthusiastically since 2022, not only as an orthopedist and chiropractor, but also as a colic surgeon.
