Detailed, competent consultations and thorough ophthalmological examinations, as well as conservative intensive eye therapies and surgical procedures (usually performed while standing in horses) are carried out routinely.

The high qualifications of our veterinarians and state-of-the-art equipment enable us to solve complex problems in internal medicine on an individual basis.

Our clinic is equipped to a very high medical standard in terms of personnel (ACVS Diplomate) and technology (anesthesia, equipment, hygiene) and is constantly being further developed in line with scientific advances. Active ventilation with modern anesthesia machines, as well as padded recovery boxes and highly trained staff, ensure the smoothest possible surgical procedures.

The challenge of accurately diagnosing lameness and riding problems requires not only imaging techniques, but also experienced and highly qualified veterinarians, as well as a significant, often underestimated, investment of time. Our clinic offers specialized techniques such as X-rays and ultrasound examinations of the limbs, neck, back, pelvis, and sacroiliac joints, ultrasound-guided injections, regenerative therapies (ACP, stem cells, IRAP), and shockwave therapy.

A professional examination, including rectal palpation, visual examination with a speculum, and rectal ultrasound, forms the basis of the gynecological examination. Special endoscopic examinations are performed individually when indicated (e.g., endometritis).

To prevent chronic weight loss, dental problems, and riding difficulties, regular oral examinations are essential. Our clinic offers professional oral and sinus examinations using endoscopy, as well as minimally invasive diagnostics and dental treatments to a high standard.

A pre-purchase examination (PPE) serves solely to determine the current state of health of the animal by a veterinarian. The result can be considered equivalent to an expert opinion.

We fully understand your fears and concerns when your horse suffers a serious, often life-threatening injury, illness, or colic. Our competent team will care for your horse: thanks to state-of-the-art equipment, an in-house laboratory, and specialized intensive care units with video monitoring, our patients can receive optimal, round-the-clock medical, laboratory, and surgical care.

After years of preparation, we are proud that the Tillysburg Equine Clinic is the first equine clinic in Austria to offer computed tomography (CT) while standing since autumn 2023.
