- Tillysburg, the name is steeped in history
The castle of the same name in Sankt Florian, Upper Austria, was built in the 17th century by the field marshal Count Tilly and is the town's landmark. It includes a farm, the so-called Mayrhof, which is located near the motorway and thus has good infrastructure connections. Today it houses Austria's largest private equine clinic: the Tillysburg Equine Clinic.
- 1998, founding of the equine clinic
The clinic was founded in 1998 by Dr. Clemens Mahringer and Dr. Christian Franz. It was expanded in 2014 through a merger with the Irnharting Veterinary Clinic.
- 2022, expansions
Since 2022, there has been an expansion in the areas of surgery, complementary medicine (chiropractic) and ophthalmology under 3 additional clinic directors.
- 2023, a new era
2023 marks the beginning of a new era with the establishment of an eye clinic in Tillysburg for small animals (dogs and cats) and horses, as well as the conversion to include a standing computed tomography scanner and additional boxes and consultation rooms.
